Dr Olympia Koulouri is an Endocrinologist-Diabetologist specialising in hormonal conditions related to the pituitary gland, thyroid, parathyroids, adrenal glands, reproductive organs and diabetes mellitus.
She is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens. She trained in Endocrinology-Diabetes and General Internal Medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals. She completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge and was awarded the Milo Keynes Prize for her outstanding doctoral dissertation. She has actively participated in international endocrinology conferences with numerous distinctions for poster and oral presentations. She has authored numerous publications with over 1000 citations as well as chapters in the most popular endocrinology textbooks (DeGroot’s Endocrinology, Oxford Textbook of Endocrinology and Diabetes). In 2019, she was elected Lecturer in Endocrinology & Diabetes at the University of Cambridge. In 2023, she started working as an Endocrinologist-Diabetologist in Athens, Greece (Henry Dunant Hospital Center and ANAPLASI rehabilitation center).
